New Year’s Eve is fast approaching and if you haven’t given too much thought to how you’ll be spending it, a night out with friends and family that’s close to home is a great way to celebrate the coming New Year. Whether you’re looking to celebrate with your kids, or stay out with friends, here are some great options for you to consider for New Year’s Eve:


This year’s New Year’s Eve celebration is a family friendly event taking place at the Magna Centre starting at 6:00pm. Bring the kids to this fun filled event featuring skating, swimming, crafts, carriage rides and loads more to keep the family occupied and excited. The countdown starts at 9pm so you’ll still be able to get them to bed at a decent hour. Brampton has so many great options for fun on New Year’s Eve. Family fun with puppet shows and musical acts take place at 7pm at Main & Wellington followed by fireworks at 9pm at City Hall. A great lineup of busker performances can be seen on Queen Street East starting at 7pm. The city of Vaughan is home to so many banquet halls and entertainment facilities making it a hub for New Year’s Eve celebrations.  If you love top 40 music and want to dance the night away, Le Jardin Banquet Hall offers a scrumptious dinner with one of the largest dance parties around hosted by DJ Danny D and The HammeR from Z103.5.
